Giving your used clothes goes beyond a simple donation to the deprived...
Once your textile donations are collected, they are sent to factories where they are sorted out in different categories:
Good quality second-hand clothes & textiles
Are given to the deprived through partner projects or are sold at low prices in a network of charity shops providing an interesting alternative to low income earners. The proceeds derived allow us to extend our support to meaningful actions in favor of the deprived and in a more effective manner. They also cover the costs related to the recycling of the other categories which represent the majority of textile collected.
Unwearable textiles
These can be transformed into wiping cloths for industries, in new fabrics following fraying process or in insulation materials.
Waste (buttons, zips, synthetic materials)
Usually sent to waste reception centers for incineration, these are actually the subject of research and creation for innovative projects with Applied Schools of Art and Industrial Design.
Your used clothes are converted into:
- hundreds of permanent jobs as this sector requires significant manual work;
- housing, feeding & education for the deprived through different charity projects;
- aid for our environment.
Door to door collection
Only what you don't need will do
Act on our environment and help us support charity projects by donating your unwanted clothes, shoes, toys, bags and linens.
Starts in London on September 22nd.
